Grassroots motorsport: where passion begins
Discover the exciting world of local rallying and how you can get involved. From entry-level events to competitive series, this is where the journey for many motorsport enthusiasts, including KAT Racing, truly starts.

Our journey from a Ford Laser to WARC
At KAT Racing, grassroots motorsport is where our story began. We cut our teeth in a humble Ford Laser, learning the ropes and developing our skills on local tracks. This journey taught us the importance of community, resilience, and pure driving passion. We've since progressed to competing in the Western Australian Rally Championship (WARC) in a Subaru, a testament to the growth and opportunities that grassroots motorsport provides. We've proudly won all but one series we've entered, proving that dedication and hard work can take you from local events to higher levels of competition.

The heart of WA motorsport
Western Australia boasts a vibrant grassroots motorsport scene, powered by passionate clubs that offer multiple series for all levels of experience. These clubs are the backbone of local rallying, providing a welcoming environment for beginners, a competitive stage for experienced drivers, and thrilling entertainment for fans. Whether you're looking to start your own motorsport journey, find a new club to follow, or simply enjoy the thrill of local racing, there's a place for you.
